Mariposario Botanical Garden Of The Quindío
Origin
The Mariposario is a great fish-pond outdoors that forms a part of the botanical Garden of the Quindío, is located in Calarcá, a Colombian municipality in the department of the Quindío, Colombia.
It is the home of more than 1.200 species of endemic butterflies of Colombia, inside a structure of 640 m2.

Park De The Muleteers

National Park Of Coffee
Origin
The national park of coffee was founded in 1995 by the Coffee growers' National Federation of Colombia and the Coffee growers' Departmental Committee of the Quindío; there belongs to the Foundation Park of the Coffee Culture and is a non-profit-making entity destined for the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of the coffee in Colombia, to the promotion of cultural, recreative, ecological activities and to the impulse of the ecotourism in the region.
It arose from a worry of the engineer Diego Arango Mora, with the purchase of an estate of 13 hectares. It was inaugurated in 1995 and every year it is visited by 450 000 tourists. Located to twelve kilometres of Armenia and to three of the municipality of Montenegro, for the route that leads People Tapao. The park divides in ecological and recreative spaces.
